In fact, program stays can be scheduled between 8 days and 24 months ahead of time, or on the go stays can be scheduled with only two days' notice. Even better, each share guarantees one special date per year, such as New Year’s Day, Easter, Labor Day, or Christmas. Still, you are not locked in to a particular holiday, so if you don’t get your first choice one year, you will have recurring opportunities to get it! Meanwhile, with a timeshare year after year you are bound to the same week. Even if a shifting or floating week is offered, it is often severely limited to a small number of possible dates. There is a maximum of co-owners for each home

We keep a limit of eight shares for each home, which means that you and another possible seven co-owners will be the only ones using the home, one at a time. This means the people sharing the home will have the same sense of pride, ownership, and love for their second home. Naturally, we still inspect and thoroughly clean after each stay, ensuring the home will be ready for the next co-owner.

On the other side, with a timeshare you may have to share with as many people as there are weeks in a year. A possible 52 people use the house on a rolling basis, with far less assurances that the property will be cared for and truly prepared to receive its next visitor. With additional timeshare programs allowing for exchanges, rentals, and point swaps, you could be looking at a number of visitors comparable to the patronage of a small hotel.
